Nilson Matta’s Brazilian Voyage is a celebration of Brazil’s rich musical heritage, led by internationally renowned bassist, composer, and bandleader Nilson Matta. A founding member of the acclaimed Trio da Paz and a longtime collaborator with Yo-Yo Ma on the Grammy-winning Obrigado Brazil project, Matta has spent his career redefining the role of the bass in Brazilian jazz.
